We are seeking a highly dependable, service-minded Events and Connections Admin Assistant. This full-time role is essential to the day-to-day functioning of church events and helps ensure that events, projects, and ministry operations run smoothly. The Event and Connections Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting events and communicating between different departments. This position will serve the Connections Team with various tasks and ensure Sunday events are run with excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support for church events, ministries, and special projects/events.
• Assist with event planning logistics including scheduling, coordination, and follow up.
• Ordering office supplies to help support the various departments of Generation Church.
• Support training and meetings with excellence and make sure it is properly set up.
• Maintain spreadsheets, documents, and systems related to events.
• Set up campus lobbies and make sure they are ready to receive guests with excellence.
• Managing organization in office areas.
• Coordinating and communicating with volunteers throughout the week to help handle certain tasks.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• 1-3+ years of administrative experience.
• Will need a flexible schedule as some events happen on evenings and weekends throughout the year.
• Problem solving, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple schedules and calendars.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time excellently under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills, patience, and a willingness to offer suggestions and improvements to newly developed processes.
• Advanced skills in Pages, Google docs.
• Will need to have the maturity to handle confidential issues and materials discreetly.
• An obvious, active and growing relationship with Jesus.
• Enthusiasm for the mission, vision, and values of Generation Church.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
